How&How

"Of all the various features of the site my absolute favorite is the menu animation."

Introduction

Here’s the story; so I was out of the Job when I made this project and I made it as part of a strategy that I developed. Basically the strategy was something along this line “I remake websites and show it to the agency and perhaps they’ll then be convinced of Webflow and then hire me.”

In a way it wasn’t such a bad plan, I mean what better way to show an agency that Webflow can get the job done than by actually recreating their website using Webflow.

Thoughts

Now you may wonder what do I think of this site, what do I think of what I redeveloped using Webflow. Can be unbiased about the work or will my affections for my own work get the better of me.

The project in of itself was okay, It took me sometime to make it though (not because I didn’t have the skills for it but mainly because I only worked on it at certain hours of the day).

Of all the various features of the site my absolute favorite is the Menu Animation. The menu animation makes use of Webflow interactions to accomplish its effect and has no custom code to back it up.

Performance

The site performs moderately well, on GTMetrix it score an A and on Google Lighthouse it scores a 78/100 in performance.

Closing Remark

Developing the site was a nice learning experience and a cool thing that I can now show on my portfolio, though I wasn’t in the end employed by How&How I was able to improve my skills.
